Margaret Stretch

My passion revolves around helping others to unleash their potential and resiliency within themselves and in their communities.  The space we create together centers around you and your needs.  Together we can collaborate to figure out what those needs are and how to attain them.

I have over a decade of experience working with clients dealing with various issues, such as relationships, stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, job loss/transition, losing a loved one, LGBTQI2-S issues, anger management and drug/alcohol abuse.  I have worked with a multitude of people from different cultures and backgrounds through individual, couple and family counseling.

I practice through an eclectic lens, utilizing multiple theories to produce creative solutions for your life goals:

  • Humanistic/Existential
  • Emotionally Focused Therapy
  • Mindfulness
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
  • Solution-Focused Approach
  • Expressive Arts
  • Narrative Therapy
  • Grief Counseling
  • Stress Management
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy
  • Play Therapy
  • Psychodrama and Movement

I offer a free initial session to new clients to explore the therapeutic relationship.
