We are each complex beings made up of many integral parts. My focus is to help you find wellness and strive towards inner peace and wholeness in the way that works best for you. Your psychotherapy experience will be tailored to best fit your individual needs, personality and goals for your life.

For over twenty-five years, I've dedicated myself to helping individuals achieve wellness and balance, first as a holistic primary health care provider since 1998, and now as a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and psychotherapist. I leverage the power of talk therapy to assist young people and parents in finding internal harmony and a greater sense of wellbeing through the transformative process of psychotherapy.

Adolescents and Young Adults: Psychotherapy can be a light in a time of great darkness for all people, teens and young adults included. We work together to find your inner light, better manage your emotions, and work through issues such as depression and anxiety with tools like creative expression, talk therapy, and mindfulness based awareness.

Parents: Therapy can help parents too! Parenthood is a rewarding and transformative journey, yet it can also be a time of challenge with its many ups and downs. Witnessing your child's changing phases can bring unforeseen stressors and disrupt your sense of self. Therapy can equip you with the tools to navigate these ups and downs more effectively, promoting inner peace and healthy communication within your family. Research consistently reveals that when parents prioritize their own well-being, their children grow alongside them. Modeling the pursuit of personal growth is one of the most invaluable gifts you can give your children.

Preconception, infertility, prenatal and postpartum life experiences bring with it their own challenges and feelings. Having specialized in working with this population for many years as a holistic practitioner, Psychodynamic talk therapy can be a profound and effective medium of focus to assist you through these phases of life.

My experience as a health care provider and parent of three young adults informs my therapeutic approach as we embark on this journey together, supporting you and your family on the path towards individual and collective well-being.

CLINICAL APPROACH

You are a unique person and no therapy is one-size-fits all. Thus, I have an integrationist approach to therapy, informed by my background as a holistic healthcare provider. I seek to get to know you and utilize therapeutic avenues that may serve you best. This might include talking about and better understanding your past and current relationships, discussing your dreams, mindfulness based cognitive therapy, art therapy, helping you tune into how your body and emotions interconnect, and utilizing ways of getting to know the various parts of yourself and how those parts communicate. I am insight and depth oriented and believe healing happens when we feel safe and allow for deeper connections and heartfelt communication. Therapy is a unique experience for each person and needs to be tailored to best fit you.
