My practice is unique in that I offer some appointments (when deemed appropriate) at agreed upon locations, in natural settings to incorporate the earth and sea's healing elements. I view therapy as a guided passage—one where you don’t have to have all the answers, and you don’t have to walk alone. My role is to offer steady support, curiosity, and care as we gently bring light to what feels confusing, painful, or stuck. I strive to understand your inner world as closely as possible and reflect it back to you with care and accuracy—especially the feelings beneath the words, and then explore the deeper feelings, connections, meanings. Hearing your experience named and understood can create space for clarity, emotional processing, and self-compassion, often helping you feel less alone in what you’re carrying. My intention is to help you reconnect with your inner wisdom and strengths, so that moving forward feels less overwhelming and more aligned, steady, and whole. Above all, I aim to offer an environment of unconditional acceptance. You are welcome here exactly as you are—without judgment, pressure, or the need to perform or explain yourself in a certain way. No matter what thoughts, emotions, or experiences you bring, you will be met with warmth and respect. This kind of safety can make it easier to soften defenses, explore honestly, and move through life’s transitions with greater trust in yourself.
Clinical Approach
Our work together is tailored to you, as a unique individual. I may draw from Experiential Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness-based practices, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Positive Psychology, and humanistic, psychodynamic, approaches. Together, we explore the deeper patterns, relationships, and lived experiences that may be shaping your present, while honoring your nervous system’s pace and capacity for healing. Therapy with me is collaborative and supportive—offering a steady presence as you navigate uncertainty, emotional pain, or life transitions.
Areas of Clinical Work
I also value authenticity and presence in the therapeutic relationship. I show up as a real, grounded human—open, engaged, and transparent—rather than behind a clinical role. Having lived experiences personally and in different roles professionally, I can understand on a deep level: anxiety, depression, grief, feelings of devastation after the loss of a partner, cherished pet, family member. I have experience with addiction issues, intimate partner violence, eating disorders, complex trauma, post traumatic stress, identity, sexual identity, LGBTQ+ issues, single parenting, infidelity, job burnout, imposter syndrome, perfectionism and self doubt, self-esteem building, family relationships & conflict, codependency, boundaries, to name a few. While our work always remains focused on your needs, I believe healing happens most naturally in a relationship that feels genuine, safe, and respectful.
